1.From the app (iOS and Android)
- Open Celsmar and sign in.
- Go to Account and scroll to the bottom: Danger zone → Delete my account.
- Read what is deleted, type DELETE and tap Delete permanently.
We will sign you out and take you to the home page. You will not be able to sign in with that account again.
2.From the website
- Sign in at celsmar.com/account.
- Open the Data section and, at the bottom, Danger zone → Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
3.If you cannot sign in
Email help@celsmar.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the address you registered with (this is how we check the account is yours). If you signed up with Google or Apple, tell us. We will delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days at most, and usually within one or two working days.
Through the same channel you can ask us to delete only part of your data (for example your community activity) without closing the account.
4.What is deleted
- Account and sign-in: your user, email, password and Google or Apple sign-ins.
- Profile and preferences: name, photo, language, theme, currency and settings.
- Your usage data: portfolio, watchlist, lists, price alerts and notes saved in the cloud.
- Community: your public profile, posts, recommendations, people you follow and private messages.
- Saved technical readings and the AI reports and summaries generated for your account.
- Broker connections: the encrypted read-only credentials and the latest reading of your holdings. What you already imported into your portfolio is deleted with it.
- Notifications: your push subscriptions and your email alert preferences.
- AI usage counters and the email delivery records tied to your address.
5.What we keep and why
- Invoices and payments (Stripe): if you paid for a plan, the customer record and invoices are kept at Stripe for up to 6 years to meet commercial and tax obligations (art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code). They are used only for that obligation.
- Activity log: audit entries stop being linked to you at the moment of deletion (the identifier and the email are removed), with one exception: the deletion notice the system itself generates keeps your email in our database until it is purged, after 90 days, and is sent to a private team alerts channel. The other anonymised entries are purged after 90 days; those with accounting relevance (plan changes and payments) after 6 years, no longer identifying you. We also note that the deletion took place, with a code that does not reveal who you are.
- Support messages: if you wrote to us, up to 2 years from the last interaction. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
- Backups: deleted data disappears from them as they rotate, within 90 days at most. They are never restored.
- Technical security logs: up to 12 months.
6.Subscriptions and payments
When you delete the account we cancel any active paid subscription immediately so you are not charged again. There is no automatic refund of the period already paid; if you think you are entitled to one, write to us. If you bought the plan on another platform, cancel it there too. If we cannot cancel the subscription we delete nothing and tell you, so you do not keep paying for an account that no longer exists.
7.Before you delete
- It cannot be undone. To keep your portfolio, export a copy first from My account → Data → Export.
- You can sign up again with the same email later, but you will start from scratch.
- Administrator accounts cannot be deleted from the app; contact us.
