What this figure is, exactly
It is cash dividends paid per share: what was paid in cash during the fiscal year, as Coca-Cola itself tags it in the XBRL data filed with each annual report. Paid and declared can differ in a given year when a quarterly dividend declared in December is paid in January: the paid figure counts it in the year of the payment. The company tags only this concept in its filings.
Each fiscal year is named by the date it ended, because Coca-Cola's fiscal year coincides with the calendar year. For each year the figure comes from the 10-K for that year itself, the report that was audited for it; later 10-Ks repeat it as a comparative, and that repetition is used only to detect stock splits. Where a later 10-K tags a year differently without a split, the row says so.
Coca-Cola restated earlier years in a later 10-K at a whole-number ratio, which is how a stock split shows up in the filings: a 2-for-1 split reflected in the 10-K filed 27 February 2013. Figures from before the split are shown as filed, with the equivalent per share today beside them, and the year-on-year change is computed on the equivalent.
Where each figure comes from
From the CommonStockDividendsPerShareCashPaid concept in the XBRL financial data Coca-Cola files with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission alongside its Form 10-K (SEC registrant CIK 21344). The "Filed in" column opens the filing index of that 10-K at sec.gov, where the full report and its XBRL instance are public. The data was read from the SEC on 15 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does Coca-Cola pay in dividends per share?
- Coca-Cola paid $2.04 per share for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2025, as reported in its annual report filed with the SEC on 20 February 2026. The figure is the company's own XBRL tag for cash dividends paid per share; it is not an estimate.
- Is this the dividend I will receive?
- No. This is the cash dividends paid per share for a whole fiscal year, as the company reports it in its 10-K. What you receive depends on the shares you hold on each record date and on the quarterly payments the board declares after this report. For the next payment date, the source is the company's own dividend announcement, not its annual report.
- Does this cover the calendar year?
- Yes: Coca-Cola's fiscal year ends on 31 December, so each row covers a calendar year. The figure in a 10-K is always for the company's fiscal year, which is why each row names the exact date it ended.
- Where does each figure come from and can I check it?
- From the XBRL data the company files with the SEC alongside its 10-K, under the concept CommonStockDividendsPerShareCashPaid. Each row links the filing index of that 10-K at sec.gov, where the full report and its XBRL instance are public. For each fiscal year the figure is the one in the 10-K for that year itself; later filings are used only to detect stock splits, and if one tags the year differently the row says so.
