How it works

What Celsmar does

  • Reads your holdings, quantity and average price
  • Updates every night and whenever you hit sync
  • Shows you every holding before importing it

What it never does

  • Send buy or sell orders
  • Move, withdraw or transfer money
  • Send your key back to the browser or share it

Keys are stored encrypted with AES-256 on servers in the European Union, with the encryption key kept outside the database. Disconnect the broker whenever you like and the key is deleted.

Upload its statement or a screenshot

Import the CSV or Excel file you download from your broker, or a photo of its screen. We recognise these statements on our own, without asking what each column is, and combine buys and sells into your open position at its average price:

What people ask us

No. Celsmar only reads your holdings. We ask for read-only keys and, where the broker allows it, we check when connecting that the key cannot trade or withdraw; if it can, we reject it. Some brokers do not offer read-only keys: in that case we tell you before saving it.

Encrypted with AES-256 on our servers in the European Union, with the encryption key kept outside the database. They never go back to your browser or anywhere else. You can disconnect the broker whenever you want and the key is deleted.

It is part of the Pro plan, which lets you connect up to five brokers; in Enterprise, as many as you like. Importing statements and screenshots is also part of Pro.
