Import your ING portfolio
ING has no open connection for apps like Celsmar, so your portfolio comes in through its statement: you download it, drop it into the portfolio and Celsmar recognises it, nets buys and sells into each holding at average cost and shows you the result before importing.

How to import your ING portfolio, step by step

- Upload it to your portfolioIn Celsmar, open Portfolio, click Import and pick ING under «Which bank or broker is it from?». Drop the file (or a screenshot) and Celsmar reads it in your browser: the file never leaves your computer.
- Review and importYou see every holding with its shares, average price, fees and date before importing it. Fix whatever you need and untick what you do not want. When you trade again, repeat the import with a new statement.
What Celsmar reads from the ING statement
The buys and sells of each security, netted into your open position at average cost, with their fees and the date of the first buy. Dividends, interest and cash movements are set aside. If a sell has no matching buy in the file, we tell you instead of subtracting it from another.
Frequently asked questions
Can ING be connected so it updates on its own?
Not yet: ING offers no connection Celsmar can use. That is why it is imported from the statement, which you repeat whenever you want to bring the portfolio up to date.
Which ING formats does Celsmar accept?
The Excel or CSV you download from ING. Also the trade confirmations in PDF, several in one file. And always a screenshot of your holdings.
How much does importing my ING portfolio cost?
Importing statements and screenshots is part of the Pro plan. On Free you can enter your holdings by hand.
What if the file is not recognised?
Celsmar shows you its columns and asks what each one is. If you pick the bank and the file does not have its format, it tells you before going on.
