Connect KuCoin to your portfolio
Your KuCoin holdings land in your Celsmar portfolio and update every night. Celsmar only reads them: it never sends orders or moves money.

To connect KuCoin we ask for these API details. You paste them into your portfolio and we store them encrypted:

- Secret key
- Passphrase

In KuCoin: API Management → Create API, with the «General» permission only (no Spot, Margin, Futures or Withdrawal). Note the passphrase you choose.

- Paste it into your portfolioIn Celsmar, open Portfolio, click Connect broker and pick the broker. We check the key works by reading your holdings before storing it.
- Review and importYou see every holding with its quantity and average price before importing it. From then on, whatever you buy or sell is recorded every night, and anything you entered by hand is left alone.
What Celsmar reads from KuCoin
The balance of each cryptocurrency. Cash in euros or dollars does not go into the portfolio. If the broker does not give the average price of a holding, we ask you for it before importing instead of making it up.
Security
The key is stored encrypted with AES-256 on servers in the European Union and never goes back to your browser. Disconnect whenever you like and it is deleted. Where KuCoin lets us see the permissions, we check that the key cannot trade or withdraw and, if it can, we reject it.

Can Celsmar trade in my KuCoin account?
No. Celsmar only reads your holdings with a read-only key and never sends orders or moves money. If KuCoin shows the key's permissions and it can trade or withdraw, we reject it.
How often does my KuCoin portfolio update?
Every night, automatically, and whenever you press Sync in the portfolio (at most once a minute). Whatever you buy or sell at the broker is recorded on its own.
How much does connecting KuCoin cost?
Connecting brokers is part of the Pro plan, with up to five brokers at a time; on Enterprise, as many as you like. On Free you can see the brokers and how they connect.
What if I would rather not create a key at KuCoin?
You can import a KuCoin statement as CSV or Excel, or a screenshot of your holdings, and review them before they go into the portfolio.
